Privacy Policy
QuickSend · Last updated: 24 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LYSoft Technologies ("we", "us")
handles information in the QuickSend mobile application ("the App"). By using
the App you agree to this policy.
In short: QuickSend lets you send a WhatsApp or SMS message to a phone number
without saving it as a contact. Most of your data stays on your device. We use
Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting, store your saved message
templates in the cloud under a private account — either an automatic anonymous
account (no login) or, if you choose, your Google account so they sync across reinstalls and
devices — and use Doorbell for in-app feedback. We do not sell your personal data, we do
not track your location, and we do not require your name,
email, or phone number to use the App.
1. Information we process
a) Data stored only on your device (not uploaded by us)
- Recent messages — the recipient number and message text of messages you
compose are saved locally on your device so you can see your history. They are
not sent to our servers. Clearing the App's storage deletes them.
- Your country / dial-code preference and similar settings.
b) Camera (on-device processing only)
- The App can use your camera to scan a phone number using on-device text
recognition. Camera images are processed locally on your device and are
not stored or transmitted by us.
c) Account & sign-in (Firebase Authentication)
- By default the App signs you in anonymously. This happens automatically in
the background — there is no login screen and no username or password. Firebase
assigns a random identifier (an "anonymous user ID") tied to your app installation; we do
not use your device's hardware identifier (e.g.
ANDROID_ID). If you
clear the App's data or reinstall while anonymous, a new anonymous ID is created and templates
tied to the old one are not recovered.
- Optional Google sign-in. You may choose to sign in with your Google
account to keep your templates across reinstalls and devices. If you do, we receive your
Google account's email address and a Firebase user ID, used only to identify and
restore your templates. We do not access your Google contacts, Drive, or any
other Google data, and we do not post anything. You can sign out at any time from the Templates
screen.
d) Data stored in the cloud (Google Firebase / Firestore)
- Message templates you create (a template name and message text) are stored
in our Firebase Firestore database, associated with your anonymous user ID so they can be shown
back to you and kept private to your account.
e) Analytics and diagnostics (Google Firebase)
- Firebase Analytics collects app-usage events and Firebase-generated
identifiers (such as an app-instance ID) to help us understand how the App is used.
- Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports and diagnostic information
(device model, OS version, stack traces) so we can fix problems.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging may use a device push token to deliver
notifications.
f) Feedback (Doorbell)
- If you submit feedback through the in-app feedback option, that feedback (and any contact
details you choose to include, plus basic device metadata) is sent to and processed by
Doorbell (doorbell.io), a third-party feedback service.
g) When you send a message
- When you tap send, the App shares the recipient's phone number and your
message with WhatsApp (or WhatsApp Business) or your SMS app so
your message can be delivered. From that point the information is handled by that app under its
own privacy policy. We do not store the number on our servers.
We do not collect your name, precise location, or contacts (other than any details
you voluntarily type into a message or feedback form).
2. How we use information
- To provide core features (sending messages, templates, number scanning).
- To analyze and improve performance and stability.
- To respond to feedback and support requests.
3. Sharing
We share data only with the service providers that power these features. We do not sell your
personal information.
4. Data security
Data transmitted to our service providers is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Cleartext
network traffic is disabled in the App.
5. Data retention and deletion
- Local data is removed when you clear the App's storage or uninstall the App.
- You can delete individual cloud templates at any time from within the App (the delete control
on each template).
- To request deletion of all data associated with your anonymous user ID, contact us at the
address below.
6. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not
knowingly collect personal information from them.
7. International users
Your information may be processed on servers operated by our service providers (including Google)
in countries other than your own.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the
"Last updated" date above.
